We have received over 100 total signatures on our petition to become an officially recognized alumni club (group) of the University of Maryland Alumni Association (UMAA). However, only approximately 17 persons are dues-paying members of the UMAA. Thus, we still need your help to meet the requirement of 25 UMAA dues-paying members to sign the petition– we're almost there!

Please forward this message to other Terp alumni to reach our petition goal. The deadline has been extended to January 17th, 2010.

Dear UMD APAAN members and supporters,

Since its inception, one of APAAN’s main aims has been to become an officially recognized alumni club (group) of the University of Maryland Alumni Association (UMAA). We are excited to update you with the news that APAAN’s Executive Board is in the process of formally applying to obtain a club charter.

However, we NEED YOUR HELP. Please show your support of the APAAN club formation by signing the official petition. It only takes 2 quick seconds!

SIGN HERE: http://terpnation.net/s/1132/index.aspx?sid=1132&gid=1&pgid=415&cid=1012

Our goal is to get at least 25 dues paying members of the UMAA to sign the petition by Sunday, December 20th. However, if you are currently not a UMAA member, please still sign the petition to show your support. More information about joining the UMAA: http://terpnation.net/s/1132/index.aspx?sid=1132&gid=1&pgid=477.

We will keep everyone posted on the progress of this exciting milestone in APAAN’s history!
