On Thursday, March 3, 2011, the UMAA, AASU and APAAN sponsored the UMD APA Community Networking Event at the Riggs Alumni Center. Dozens of students attended and seized the opportunity to network with local organizations for volunteer, intern, and career opportunities via information tables and the "speed networking" portion of the evening.

Want to Play?
Please complete the following registration form by Thursday, March 31th.

Fundraising:
Since we are in different locations and are not able to set up a central fundraiser, we ask that you either make a personal pledge or contact your employer for a donation. This is optional and not required to play on the team, however, we greatly appreciate any contribution to the designated charity. Our minimum suggested donation is $20. Official letters are being drafted from the Wiffle-ball Committee to distribute to employers and will be forwarded when available.

APAAN would like to invite YOU to participate in the annual career networking event for UMD APA students hosted by the Office of Multicultural Involvement and Community Advocacy (MICA), Asian American Student Union (AASU), UMD Alumni Association, and the UMD Asian Pacific American Alumni Network (APAAN).

Take this opportunity to give back to UMD students and provide professional career and networking advice, and possibly mentor. If you are interested, please RSVP at www.alumni.umd.edu/apanetworkingevent.
